Blog Post: (Due online Thurs., Feb. 26, 2015 at 10:30PM.)
1. Come up with at least one idea for a person, family, community, cause, project, or charity that you would like to see our class do an online fundraising campaign for.
2. Research your choice thoroughly from as many angles as possible. You CAN use Wikipedia as a starting point, but also use at LEAST two other resources that are reputable. (Don’t use a gossipy blog/forum with loads of typos, for example as a source.)
3. Write a short summary of your idea for a crowdfunding project. Try to address who, what, where, when, why, and how? Then, tell us (the readers who may know nothing about your idea/person/choice except for what you write) why we should care. Is anyone else already fundraising for this person or cause? What support do they already have, if any? Why would OUR class crowdfunding project make a difference to this person or cause? List all your resources at the end of your post along with links if applicable. *Please remember to include an image, links if applicable, “Student Posts” as your category, and tags. Please also put “by (Your Name)” before your post so we can easily identify its author.
